I got into it late and it took awhile for me to catch up.

I try not to actually like or get close to any characters anymore since Robert Baratheon, Ned Stark, and all the other characters I had grown to like seem to get killed off.

I'm actually still on the first book because I only just bought the first four like a week ago. The fifth book is on back order until almost November...

It's worth checking out, it's brilliant.

However the best show on at the moment is House of Lies and even that is no match for Buffy or Veronica Mars.

What television shows do you like?

Allow me to guess - he likes TV shows about America and Americans winning over foreign people and terrorists, preferably ones where there isn't a lot of talking (because that requires the use of thought, which makes the characters boring) and a bunch of action and explosions.
