Which Democratic Party do you prefer?

The Obama Era vs. the era where they flubbed around on the Iraq War, gay marriage, stem cell research, and healthcare reform?  Yea, that's tough. 

And if I recall correctly, the Dems went right along with the Patriot Act vote; so I don't see how the NSA controversy changes anything.  We've been prioritizing security over privacy as a nation for quite awhile now.

I voted for the latter. The post '09 party is much better when you look at the actual party's beliefs. The first two years were under Pelosi's House, which passed a considerable amount of progressive legislation only to die at the hands of the Senate filibuster. We could've had a lot more done if the Senate operated under a simple majority rule.
