Among those candidates, who is the most likely to win South Carolina?

I think Paul. Graham's pulling a lot of the strings, but Paul is proving himself to be THE conservative candidate to beat, and that candidate is generally the favorite in South Carolina.

I guess it depends if the voters see themselves more as DeMint types or Graham types.

If they were voting with just their hearts, Santorum, but there are enough who know he can't win in November to keep him from having a chance unless he is facing a large and deeply fractured field.

It's Ryan or Paul right now and I voted Ryan to be contrarian, but Paul is more likely to run.

It'll be pretty close between Santorum and Paul.

I voted Paul though as I believe he'll be more successful overall than Santorum.

No Rubio?

Out of those options, Paul I suppose.

IIRC, South Carolinans don't take kindly to the idea of military spending cuts. And IIRC further, Rand Paul is in favour of military spending cuts.

Probably Rand Paul.

I would expect him to do well enough in the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries.

At that point, he would enter South Carolina as the regional candidate. He would also have support among the people who don't normally vote, which would likely drive up his numbers somewhat.

Jeb Bush would also have a shot, considering how well his brother did in the state.

Paul Ryan is conservative enough to win it if he has momentum from other states.

Christie could pull off a win if a combination of Jeb Bush, Rand Paul and Paul Ryan split the vote.

Rick Santoum and Sarah Palin won't get much support in this crowd.

South Carolina is not Huntsman's state.

Santorum or Bush. Evangelical and they fit the state profile, not sure how Rand Paul does, given Ron never did anything in SC in 08 or 12.

Santorum, most likely.

I could see Santorum or Ryan winning. Paul's natsec/FP positions would cause him problems in SC.

Paul, although I wouldn't rule out Santorum just yet.

You put Palin on a poll but no Cruz? I'm revoking your license to post these polls.

The correct answer is Cruz: one of (if not the) most likely Republican candidates, obviously good at attracting attention, few liabilities (from the perspective of your average South Carolina Republican primary voter).
