I absolutely concur with those above that intracity public transport, especially rail transport, is much more important than high speed rail. This is why I am skeptical of the California high speed rail that is being built, since Southern California doesn't really have the public transport system to support that. Though that seems to be changing. Anyways, I oppose this bill.
