She's absolutely right - she had my support in 2010 over Scott, she'll certainly have it for the Democratic nomination, and will probably have it in the General as well. Crist is scum of the Earth, and it amazes me how many folks are willing to support him just because he's electable. Let's all just ignore the fact he's only in your party for personal gain...

She's certainly preferable to Crist.

Of course, the pro-Crist camp has responded.

She's right. It wreaks of opportunism and Scott can capitalize on that. Nominating someone who's been a Democrat longer would be preferable.

She's completely right. Crist is an opportunistic parasite of the Bush era, only calling himself left-wing for personal gain.

She'd be a better candidate. But Crist wouldn't be a "disaster".

I would support Sink to run again, if only to beat Crist.

Maybe. But Crist has far more skeletons than she does; she can win in any year that isn't 2010. If this is another 2010 on the other hand...you've got a lot more to worry about than Rick Scott. I know I'd be likely to vote for her.

I was always sure she'd take the plunge, people were saying her husband really wanted her to go for it before he passed away.

Hmm, the lady thrashed by Rick Scott or the chump thrashed twice by Marco Rubio.

This is like a Bronze medal game for proven losers.

A 1% loss is a thrashing? Curious.

And these proven losers are still ahead of Scott in the polls!

If a squeeker of a win is a "thrashing", what do you call Casey v. Santorum 2006?

This, Crist is Charlie Sleazebag and is a "Reagan Conservative" the desperate Dems rush to embrace.

How do people see the dynamics of a Crist vs. Sink primary if it comes to that?

"Rich and Sink would split the base vote, while Crist would run up the score with African-Americans, his base in Tampa Bay, conservative Democrats and teachers.  Crist wouldn’t even need a majority of Dems to back him to win the party’s nomination." (link).

Crist does have the senior vote. Target should be on Scott and what true progressive takes him on, next yr is a long time but I am for Sink if she does run.

Ah, yes. Leave it to the far right to stand by their criminals.
