Would it work?

I mean you have a bunch of ****ed up weirdos, a useless slob that everyone feels sorry for (Bushie), a weird guy who has his own strange obsessions that everyone is sick of (BRTD), a player who can be seen as kinda weird (opebo), the leader who no-one ever sees (Leip) and his seemingly assistant who gets mixed emotions (Inks), and a bunch of cheering drones who forget why they still watch the show but do so anyway.

Not really conventional, but it would be entertaining. Or at least it used to be.

Footnote: I am probably forgetting key events in Atlas's history.

Naso as the strange young man living next door that doesn't appear to be cranky but rails against today's youth and "remembers" the good old days.

It would essentially be a bunch of people blabbering on and making stupid remarks all the while, and accusing the straight men who actually sound smart of being the stupid ones.  Considering how wildly popular shows similar to that are (e.g. The Simpsons, Family Guy, SpongeBob), it might be a big success.
Anyway, I imagine it as all these people living in a rented house or tenement, and Dave Leip is that landlord that nobody sees except to collect the rent.

Aside from being young, he sounds like Grumps.

I hate to break it to you, but opebo seems like he's the best cut out for a that role.

Naso isn't really religious or prudish.

Absolutely not. I mean, he talks about "values" and stuff but that's more because of his personality.

Naso doesn't go to mass and can tell you very little about religion. Sure, he believes in God and "good vs. evil" but outside of that, he doesn't care.

Let us remember that he's "half-Christian, half-Catholic."

Sure, we're all gonna want parts on the show. Sadly, only a certain amount of folks that are "iconic" enough will make it on.

And believes in "Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints." Of course, the greatest Naso religion comment was when I asked him which Protestant denomination he identified with. It was even multiple choice yet Naso could only bring himself to say, "Uh...the one with the 'E.'"

Naso on Christmas and Hanukkah:

This is a weird time for me! I am part Christian (Episcoplian or Evangelical, I forget) and part Jewish so I celebrate both. I can't wait!  Smiley
