I just realized; nobody has yet actually asked this question. I know there are conflicting beliefs among the No side on what should happen if a new government is not formed, such as IDS annexation or other inferior options, so that question is left for a different poll.

If I were in the Pacific, I would vote yes. However, if the Pacific votes not to, I will respect that decision, and see how we can divide the Pacific. (Moderate Hero Position)

Such an establishment would undermine the authority of the IDS government.

Why doesn't the "Imperialists" in the IDS go ahead and claim the Pacific and fight for it? If we are forever going to keep these names, we should embrace our destiny. Spread our seed all over the pacific!

The Pacific has been pretty much a dead region since the JCP dissolved honestly. It was active for a bit under Spammage and then Wolfentoad, but that was a house of cards that crumbled a month or so ago.

I suppose efforts could be made to revive it, much like what is going on in the Midwest at the moment, but it will take effort. In all seriousness, I would favor giving the Pacific a chance before taking drastic measures.

Don't forget the Midwest and Canada's Pacific and Prairie provinces. I think the Holy Empire cannot go halfway towards the prosecution of its glorious destiny.

Are you calling the Gymnast Movement the people of the Pacfic?! I'm sorry but most of us want the Pacific to get back TNF. Allow me to quote Kaddafi Tongue : "This Al-Qaeda. They are not my people." That is true Mr. Kaddafi, they are not our people!

Yes. In the grand scheme of things, it didn't really hurt that the region was inactive. At least with the way things were before, there was a framework in which people could work to actually help the region succeed. Now, the region is materially the same as always, expect the chance to turn things around is gone. What good is that?

The elected government of the Pacific wilfully abolished itself. The fact that no one cared about what was going on until that happened is pretty telling. The Pacific was dead a long time ago, and all of this faux outrage about it is nauseating.

The unincorporated territories have the right to do without a government. (Please don't call it the 'Pacific' if you don't also want everybody to revert to calling your region the 'Southeast'.) They also have the right to reestablish a government should they ever be stupid enough to want to, paragraph 9 of their current constitution being in violation of the Federal Constitution.

No. The 'Pacific' is Imperial territory now.

I would like to remind everyone that the constitutionality of the act 'disestablishing' the original government is currently under review in a number of cases before the Court.
