For II(2), I think it would be a stronger clause if we phrased it like this:

...or something similar.

Again, "monitoring phone use" is very vague. If an employee is on the phone when he or she shouldn't be, that should be grounds for dismissal. The current language of the amendment makes it sound likeit would not be.
