Sales tax exemption for Energy Reduction Measures Bill
Section 1 Exempt categories
1. The Sales tax of the Midwest will not cover the following:
a. The purchasing of insulation for your house or business.
b. The purchasing of wind turbines, solar panels, waste to energy equipment.
Section 2 Enactment
1. This bill shall take effect July 1, 2015.

Please Govern Amendment
To amend Section III of the Midwest Constitution to read:
f) If the Governor is absent (meaning posting less than 5 posts in all of Atlas in a 10 day period) then the position shall be deemed vacant and the Archduke of the Midwest shall take over as Governor.

Section 2
2) Section II, part (d) of the Fourth Midwest Constitution shall be amended as follows:

"One Archduke of the Alþing is to be elected at-large from among the trustees over the course of five days, starting on the third Thursday closing in on Friday of the month of January, May, and September. They are elected using the PR-STV voting system. The Alþing shall be empowered to create appropriate regulations for the election of the Archduke of the Alþing; however, no candidate may become Archduke of the Alþing without an absolute majority of the vote, unless serious business is afoot. The winner is to serve as head of government, and as the official "Lord of the Cakes." The Archduke’s vote shall have the same power as that of a Most Serene Representative. shall be that resolving tied verdicts reached by the Alþing. The Archduke also acts as the head of the Alþing, bringing pieces of legislation up for debate, vote, and bringing the legislation to the Governor for signing."

Whereas, the attack was due to the publication of satirical Cartoons.
Whereas, the attack was the deadliest single day for Journalist ever.
Whereas, Freedom of Speech was under attack that day.
Whereas, the Midwest stands in Solidarity with Charlie Hebdo.
Therefore, January 7th shall be made, Je Suis Charlie Day.
