If the Republicans grow up and realize they can't win with only the radical right, they go with Christie.

I thought you were upset with Christie over his back stabbing of Romney before the election?  I guess he's forgiven now?

I think Christie is too far to the left. Everyone will love him until the day he announces and he is easy pickings even with his strong willed attitude. Rubio could very well be done since there's a path to citizenship, not just legalization in the Gang of 8 bill. Ted Cruz is extremely impressive, he is the new Rubio but much stronger.

I'd love to see Susana Martinez, but I think Jeb Bush is the more likely nominee. Chris Christie can be easily attacked, Marco Rubio is still too young and inexperienced (plus he will be attacked on both immigration & "Watergate") and Rand Paul is just too all over the place. Most people won't feel comfortable with him as their nominee. So I think it will be Jeb Bush in the end. History has a tendency to repeat itself. Republicans will probably feel in the end that he has the more Reagenesque aura, plus he has something as rare as an actual touch with the Hispanic community, as his wife is Mexican and their three children half Hispanic. Plus being governor of such a Hispanic-intensive state can only be a big plus, with Miami questionably being the latino capital of the US.

Jeb Bush won't be the nominee. His brother loved to campaign, Jeb Bush seems more dedicated to doing the job. As much as I hate the Bushes, I will give Jebby that credit. However, that hurts him on the trail, his fundraising numbers won't be nearly as good as they could be. Plus, the Rove Machine, the one that used to hold sway in the Party, is now completely and utterly collapsed. In the end, elections are a numbers game, and Jebby won't compete against Christie (who certainly will be hard to beat with some of his business connections), Paul (grassroots numbers will be insane), or Ryan (who I assume will still have Romney on his side, which should be enough in the numbers game).

He couldn't really criticize Obama when he came to New Jersey to survey the damage or when Obama pledged federal aid for the recovery, although I believe he went a bit overboard.

Aside from the disaster, he has come out in criticism of Obama for his leadership as President,  and that is what is important.

I believe a Christie/Rubio ticket would be viable, competitive, and would present a strong case to the public.

I go with Rubio first and Christie second. Everyone else on the list would be a distance 3rd, 4th, 5th, and so forth. Palin, Brown, and a few others won't run, but it's always fun to analyze hypotheticals.

I say Christie. He's by far the most electable and the Republican establishment realizes this. They'll make sure he wins. There's no way Rubio's winning the primary. Rand Paul can't unite the party like he needs to. If Christie doesn't run things will certainly get interesting.
