Essentially, in my opinion, act how Christie would have ran, but try not to he the next Jon Huntsman. Being from Florida helps in the general election.

Even the conservative Newsmax only had good things to say about him.

He should just not run. He has no chance.

Just be himself.  It's gotten him to this point.  I doubt he'll win though.  While he has conservative viewpoints in many areas he's too much of a moderate hero overall for the pubs to put him up.

But I'd support Joe.

Don't run- Republicans aren't going to run a former journalist especially one that worked at MSNBC.

I don't think he'll run.

I agree with this though. He's a Republican on MSNBC and he's voiced disagreements with Congressional Republicans so (if he wanted to run, but he probably won't) he could be the maverick that courts moderates and independents. It also helps that he's extremely telegenic and quite mellow for a guy who was a Republican congressman in the 1990s.

Oh please, Joe Scarborough is actually thinking about running for president? Give me a break, what crowd is he going to appeal to, voters who enjoy being disliked by people on the right and the left? Putting that aside, who's going to vote for somebody who only served as a Representative for 6 years?
"I possibly killed an intern but that said I am on TV."
There's that too, but I don't think that very many people will bother to bring that up if he actually runs.

Well his critical views of Congressional Republicans as of late won't help, but he did sign onto the fiscally conservative Contract with America during his time in Congress, supported eliminating the Dept of Education and was there when the govt shutdown for the first time, so that would certainly help among the far-right base. He has a son, Joey, with Asperger's to, but he ruined any chance of garnering sympathy votes from that when he accused the Aurora shooter of having the mental disorder.

Joe is not going to run though. He's done with politics and if he does decide to make a political run again, it might just be for Governor of Florida or something whose party he's given large donations to before. He's got a great, 3 hour gig on MSNBC which is pretty nice of them to give him and with Mika's "veto" and disapproval on a potential Scarborough run and the controversy that could arise between the Scarborough and Huntsman families and maybe even Rev. Sharpton, it would by no means be a good idea for Joe to run.
