Jerry Brown for President Campaign - March 25th - March 31st, 1992

"Look, I don't believe Senator Gore or Senator Biden can do the job. Period. End of story. They're going out there with corporate money, corporate sponsors, and they are a blank slate that are doing whatever their donors want them to do. I am free of that, I am only taking $100 donations per person, and we have a huge amount of support. I believe we can win this, because people understand the severity of the problem."

March 25th, 1992 (With Ross Perot, Dick Lamm):
Barnstorming in Page, Arizona
Town Hall in Kayenta, Arizona
Town Hall in Grand Canyon Village, Arizona
Rally in Williams, Arizona
Barnstorming in Prescott, Arizona
Appearance on Crossfire

March 26th, 1992 (With Ross Perot, Dick Lamm, Gary Hart):
Barnstorming in Henderson, Nevada
Town Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada
Town Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada
Meet and Greet in Indian Springs, Nevada
Meet and Greet in Beatty, Nevada

March 27th, 1992 (with Ross Perot):
Town Hall in Independence, California
Meet and Greet in Ridgecrest, California
Rally in Bakersfield, California
Rally in Santa Maria, California
Barnstorming in Santa Barbara, California
Speech in Santa Barbara, California

"Look, make no mistake about it, I am not here to stand here and tell you that freedom of speech should be censored. In fact, I will stand here today and demand each and every candidate stand for freedom of speech. We have to say no to some of these laws that we are putting out that would violate that freedom. It is We the People, which is a campaign by the people, for the people, and that includes all of our rights. No other candidate will be honest in standing the way I do on this."

March 28th, 1992 (with Gary Hart, George Mitchell, Dick Lamm):
Barnstorming in Glendale, California
Barnstorming in Santa Monica, California
Town Hall in Los Angeles, California
Rally in Los Angeles, California
Barnstorming in Santa Ana, California

Barnstorming in Arlington, Vermont
Town Hall in Putney, Vermont
Meet and Greet in Bellows Falls, Vermont
Meet and Greet in Windsor, Vermont
Barnstorming in Rutland, Vermont

"Tell you the truth, I like talking to people in small towns way more than campaigning in big cities. People in smaller cities are easier to talk to, there isn't that hesitance for human reaction. There's also a respect for human nature, something that cities seem to so dehumanize. That's part of why i am running: I want to bring human accountability to Washington D.C.. Bush has proved to be nothing more than a regular Washington man, we need someone new, and I think I am that man."

March 30th, 1992:
Town Hall in Plattsburgh, New York
Town Hall in Saranac, New York
Meet and Greet in Rome, New York
Town Hall in Saratoga Springs, New York

Barnstorming in Brooklyn, New York
Rally in Manhattan, New York
Town Hall in Staten Island, New York
Town Hall in Westbury, New York
Meeting with Reverend Al Sharpton (seeking Endorsement)

Joe Trippi announced as new Campaign Manager

Recommended by Former Senator Gary Hart, Joe Trippi is known by some as a unique mind in the campaign field, and Jerry Brown has decided to pick him up as his new campaign manager. Some are praising the decision as invigorating of the campaign, others, wondering about Trippi's expertise.

Governor Roy Romer, Vice Presidential Candidate Schedule

"Caring about our fiscal state isn't a crime. As Governors, Jerry Brown and I sincerely understand the problems in Washington, and we've dealt with those same problems. Pensions, budgets out of control, and all that. We will fix our fiscal situation without putting our working people in trouble. This campaign is deadly important and we need your support!"

March 25th, 1992:
Barnstorming in Colorado

March 26th, 1992:

Wouldn't Brown lose some endorsements after leaving the party? I'm pretty sure Gary Hart & Howard Dean wouldn't endorse out of the party.

Scott told me I would keep them when I asked. I thought I was going to lose some endorsements as well.

Joe Biden's Schedule: From March 25 to March 31, 1992:

A farewell to New England:

"Do I look like Mike Dukakis dressed this way? I mean, we all learned the lesson four years ago, don't climb on the damn tank... Well, we are going to win this one, so no weird political stunts for me. Don't give me that look, Bush disappeared into the White House, Brown and Duke don't scare me and Lee Atwater is gone. Trust me, we are going to win this one, I just know it."

March 25:

-Fly to Delaware.
-Strategy meetings at Campaign HQ in Wilmington, DE.
-Holding a major fundraiser on Baltimore, DE.
-Fly to Washington D.C, meet with Democratic congressmen.

"We are gaining ground here, the polls show us tied with Gore and Kerrey's campaign is about to back down due to the lack of proper funding. Crowds get bigger, fundraisers work better and nobody speaks anymore of my failed run four years ago... My god, we might actually win this thing!"

March 26:

-Fundraiser in New York City, NY.
-Fundraiser in Philadelphia, PA.
-Fundraiser in Columbus, Ohio.
-Rally in Scranton, PA.

"I have mixed feelings upon returning to my home town, Scranton... I love this place, I really do, but it pains me to see such a high unemployment rate, to see so many people suffering, without a job, without a house... And I know I can do something about it if I get to the White House. Duke and Brown will tell you otherwise, but a brief look on records is all you need."

March 27: (With Frank Lautenberg and Daniel Inouye)

-Town Hall in Bennington, VT.
-Rally in Essex, VT.
-Town Hall in Barre, VT.
-Rally in South Burlington, VT.
-Town Hall in Williston, VT.

March 28: (With Frank Lautenberg and Daniel Inouye)

-Town Hall in Brattleboro, VT.
-Rally in Colchester, VT.
-Town Hall in Montpellier, VT.
-Rally in Rutland, VT.
-Town Hall in Saint Albans, VT.

March 29: (With Frank Lautenberg and Daniel Inouye)

-Voter registration across Vermont.
-Barnstorming Burlington, VT.
-Rally in Burlington, VT.

"In a few more days Vermont will vote for their preferred candidate, and I'd like to believe that you will give my second victory in a row! That alone will gives us enough momentum to compete with Senator Gore in the bigger states, where he has the lead right now. We have achieved upset after upset, ladies and gentlemen, so I ask the people of Vermont to give me a landslide, a true landslide!"

March 30:

-Barnstorming New York City, NY.
-Fundraisers in New York City, NY.
-Major Rally in New York City, NY.

"Now begins the tour of the Biden Express in the state of New York... I'm going to run a low key campaign in the first two days, but right after that expect a barrage of ads, crusaders, endorsers... We are going to take this state with us to the convention, and New York's powerful and liberal voice will scream with excitement: Change! We want change! Real change!"

March 31:

-Barnstorm Buffalo, NY.
-Barnstorm Rochester, NY.
-Barnstorm Syracuse, NY.
-Rally in Albany, NY.

Your speeches say all the same bad things about David Duke, meanwhile, there is nothing you are doing that promotes the Bush Presidency. In that time, Duke is successfully connecting your candidacy to the current economic failings. If Bush had pushed for his own administration, and maybe some different/new speeches now and again, he would be wiping the field with Duke.

I know Jerry Brown lost the Dem nomination, but maybe making some policy positions that are cool to conservative base might help. IDK.

You don't mean the primary, do you?  You can't just return to a primary you dropped out of, especially this late in the game.

Jerry Brown for President 1992 Campaign Schedule: April 1st - 2nd, 1992

"Happy April Fools Day everyone!"

April 1st, 1992 (With V.P. Roy Romer, Gary Hart, Ralph Nader):
Barnstorming in Honolulu, Hawaii
Meet and Greet in Honolulu, Hawaii
Town Hall in Kaneohe, Hawaii
Town Hall in Waipahu, Hawaii
Barnstorming in Kaunakakai, Hawaii
Meeting with Congressman Neil Abercrombie (seeking Endorsement)

"Corporate greed has now completely taken over our political process. Only one man can stop it. That man is Jerry Brown. I have known him for a long time. We have disagreements, but he's honest, and even though some of our ways are different, our goals are very much the same: to have a prosperous America, where competition doesn't mean the big guy constantly squashing the little guy. I have little faith in the Democratic Party, which is why I am so glad to see Jerry Brown finally escape the two party machine that keeps the big guy in power!"

April 2nd, 1992 (with V.P. Roy Romer, Senator George Mitchell, Ralph Nader):
Barnstorming in Kahuli, Hawaii
Town Hall in Hilo, Hawaii
Town Hall in Kaliua, Hawaii
Meet and Greet in Waipahu, Hawaii
Meet and Greet in Kapaa, Hawaii
