Of course, we all want Sarah Palin to run for President because she's a compelling buffoon.  We want to see the media circus and resulting disaster.  It would be great.  But, at this point, there's no reason to get your hopes up.  It's like your crazy uncle who's had 10,000 crazy ideas about how he's going to start a million dollar business.  Sure, once he has that giant Alpaca farm, you want to go and pet the Alapacas.  But, until then, it's just a bunch of talk.  It's the same with Sarah Palin.

At this point, Sarah Palin is an honorary Kardashian.  She's a dumb loud woman and nobody really knows what her job title is besides famous person.  She's not a writer, a talk show host, a politician, or a thinker.  She's just an annoying lady from Alaska.

I honestly don't understand how anyone born after 1980 or so would consider smoking an appropriate activity, let alone do it "a lot."

The farm subsidy program is the most naked form of corporate welfare we have.

I was going to ask why McCain hasn't endorsed, but then I remembered that his endorsement would be a kiss of death in this primary.

People seem to forget McCain has a staunch conservative voting record.

I loathe pretentious pricks as a general rule.  The same exact type who will celebrate low culture, ironically of course.

Btw, is it a coincidence that HRC can stand for both Human Rights Campaign and Hillary Rodham Clinton? Tongue

They similarly are shills and lack ethical and moral values, along with any core beliefs besides $$$$

Cant a craftsman, union leader, nurse, farmer, social worker or public administrator be accomplished and intelligent? Some of you seem to equal intelligence to financial success.

I'll return the favor for the few times Sanchez has been kind enough to quote my posts here. Wink

Morsi was bad, but he was democratically elected and that's that.

But Bud Light along with other highly marketed light beers basically tastes like someone drank a real beer and pissed it out.

Good lord, how on earth could anyone support banning BRTD? Haven't enough forum icons been taken down already?

Let's just hope he brings his cattle/shekels with him. According to Old Testament Biblical teachings, Bushie doesn't have to ask for permission from the father unless he has already raped her, and he can never divorce her. New Testament doesn't specify at all. So in reality, "conservative Christian culture" is just "contrived Oklahoma patriarchy".

I'd vote for Inks, because it would be so cool to have an Atlas poster who is an actual politician.

Former poster "nhmagic" was a member of the NH House.

Most importantly, the movie "JFK" is a work of fiction.

If it weren't about the real-life assassination of a US president it could be considered a half-way decent conspiracy thriller. However, I can't really enjoy this movie because it tries to sell us a lie as fact.

Making alcohol more readily available to college students would probably make the rape problem worse, not better. The idea that frat boys are suddenly going to be responsible with alcohol because they can legally buy it is insane.

McDaniel (this race is still being contested, normal)

Why would you take a Democrat of McDaniel TJ

Childers is a socon and McDaniel has openly compared himself to Ted Cruz as a model for how he would carry himself in the senate. Another Ted Cruz is precisely the last thing the Republican Party needs right now. He'd do far more national damage than he'd help by filling a seat instead of a Democrat who is actually pretty palatable.

Also McDaniel's antics throughout show he is, at least in my opinion, unfit to hold elected office. This quixotic bid to throw out the votes of black people is beyond the pale. Sure the election laws did not benefit him, but he had plenty of time to try and change the laws while he was in the state legislature if he sincerely thought them unfair. But he didn't because he doesn't give a crap about the sincerity of the election laws, he only cares about himself and hearing himself speak longer. McDaniel (and Cruz as well) are some of the worst. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if either is actually a liberal Democrat trying to caricature the worst possible image of conservatives they can think of to disgrace the Republican Party.

A good example of how being an exceptionally smart and morally upstanding person is a liability in politics.

'What age do you plan on getting married'

What are we all? 6? I might as well ask if you all want to be a fireman when you grow up. You don't plan anything like this; marriage happens when it happens (and unhappens when it needs to happen too) To think otherwise, or to try and plan it out is a bit strange.

Why can't you people who have issues with Update simply NOT READ IT?  I don't see how its existence could be that offensive, and it is easily ignored.
