I prefer the simple method of putting a penis inside a vagina, but I'd assume that doesn't happen around here often.

I think the argument that Romney has 'dealt' with the negative impacts and somehow that negates its impact is WRONG. Romney would have to perform some kind of massive mea culpa, something he proved incapable of doing. He would also have to deal with a GOP that is actually more extreme and feral than it was in 2012. Plus, there's not even the 'moral' imperative there might have been from Gore in 04 or even 08. He lost and lost by more than circumstances suggest he should have.

It would be a suicide move... but please, go ahead. I can imagine the media "they couldn't find someone half-way decent to run, so they go to Mr Yesterday". Those in the GOP are better off waking up to themselves, standing up to the nutcases and getting someone unsullied.

All I came here to say is that Fox And Friends is what all morning news would be had the Nazis won the war.

Actually, on the one metric that actually matters, that being funding for veterans, California is ranked 2nd. Who gives a flying  about googling flags or liking something on Facebook? Also, measuring historical sites on a per capita basis is unfair. Of course states like Wyoming which don't have any people are going to be #1 on a per capita basis in everything.

Kerry. Odds are we would have a Republican president right now if he had won in '04.

Yes, gays are less likely to indulge in religious nutterism, having been the victims of it. People raised without religion are going to be much better off. So many of the tykes raised by heteros are subjected to the psychological torture of willful ignorance and threats of eternal damnation. It's amazing they turn out as well as they do.

No, though even if he had, I'm sure Romney would have crafted something far superior to Obamacare.

How do people forget that the OPEC embargo happened under Nixon? If you want to blame a president for gasoline troubles, Nixon's the one!

Republicans nowadays don't forget Nixon and GWB. They retconned their entire presidencies, and they just blamed everything on Carter and Obama.

Beard or no beard, the universal consensus is that the "I enjoy loving on kids" mustache needs to go.

Voters in Florida, New York, New Jersey, South Carolina etc seem to go out of their way from time to time in making Democracy look bad.

This is the result of not teaching history in schools.

If we did, people would understand that the "socialist" legislative platforms of both the Republican President Roosevelt and the Democratic President Roosevelt were enacted in part to stop socialism or communism from gaining significant support in the United States.

Bushie's junk food addiction is serious business. There's no difference between his behavior and that of a heroin user. The lying. The enabling family. The health problems. The inability to hold a job. He's not in control of himself. He's expressed a desire to change many times, but he is not capable. It's time people recognize the reality of the situation. Feeding kids fast food and soda should be just as socially unacceptable as giving them cigarettes and liquor.

You guys need to lay off Bushie with the weight. He clearly has an addiction, and berating him isn't going to make things any better.

For me:

Tom Cotton, Bill Cassidy, Ron Johnson, Jeff Sessions, Steve Palzzo, Virginia Foxx, Keith Rothfus, Sheila Jackson Lee.

Since the Deluge is apparently being used now for when you simply disagree with someone.

Of course not. A state religion would contradict Christian teachings.

hp.

your typical right wing democrat asshat and union stooge.  r.i.p.

He wasn't, in any sense of the word, "right wing."  He was a racist liberal Democrat.  I know you like to believe being racist and being liberal are opposites, but they're not.  Sorry.

I highly doubt that Jesus would take any interest in an unrepentant sinner like Bushie who routinely profanes the Lord's name by using it as a catch-all excuse.
