So? Free healthcare is free healthcare. It's not his fault that he needs some tenuous tribal affiliation to access what should be his human right.

The Evangelical right scares the crap out of both American and Israeli Jews. It's been made very clear they want preserve Israel for Armageddon and convert them.

I'm not into violent revolutions. I want to see the poor have a better life and I want to see some fairness, but I don't want to go around killing the rich just because they're rich. I may be a lot of things, but I'm not a murderer.
I'd like a dog that doesn't poop. Sometimes, you must choose between two imperfect options.

Ugh, I'm worried. It sounds like Bushie is trying very hard to convince himself that he's doing well but his supervisor is already losing patience with him.

Bushie, you should have shown up to CADD school more often. You also shouldn't have blown off Russ Powers' final project.

I am, however, a serious internationalist who actually cares about international law and human rights protection, and thus support any reasonable attempt to enforce these principles against the will of tyrants and mass murderers. This is the proper left-wing position.

Good things happening (or bad things not happening) is always better than scoring political "points".

Adam, do you have any principles at all? Or are you seriously a total devotee to party line?

If it wasn't for LGBT issues and MSNBC, he would most assuredly be a conservative Republican.

If we had intervened more strongly in Syria, helping the Free Syrian Army topple Assad, the IS would not be the problem that they are today.

I don't see what's inaccurate about that statement. If Obama had a chance to go back, I'm sure he would have done Syria differently. The world is justly upset about the 1,000+ people killed in Gaza in the past month, but the 170,000+ people killed in Syria's ongoing civil war is a graver tragedy.

I remember a time when this wasn't the case, but alas it is today and hence belongs here.

Going directly from several well-thought-out, pertinent posts to the R-TX Gruesome Twosome is certainly an interesting reading experience.

Yet Pelosi isn't for running across the House floor shooting Where is He?

No. 'Sociopath' doesn't mean 'has anger issues' or 'did something indecorous'.

Well if Bush hadn't convinced a generation of liberal/progressive/left-wing Americans that the answer to every foreign policy crisis is isolationism, maybe we would have intervened in Syria and stopped ISIS before they became a thing.

In 2008, people knew the real Hillary. The evil, wicked, ambitious, convictionless witch that we all hated. She would have lost North Carolina and black turnout would have fallen across the country. This delusion that Hillary had a winning charm is just that. A delusion.

I'm not sure how any adult with an ounce of self-respect can still be a Republican at this point. What an embarrassment.

It's very strange the type of people this website attracts. Nothing but a constant stream of teenagers who think premarital sex is immoral and gays cruising the place for an easy fck.
