A decent Arsenal impression, but still not as good as the 4-4 against newcastle.

City thrash Villa in the second half. They just need a draw to win the title on Sunday.

Real Madrid made their task of winning the league even more difficult by conceding an equalizer late to a bottom side. They need to win their last two matches and get help. If Atleti win this weekend, Real can't win the title.

Oh, and Ronaldo was taken off injured in the eighth minute.

Real Madrid throwing away the perfect opportunity to be back in the title race as Atletico are down to Malaga.

We're pretty clearly going down Sad

On the other hand, this will mean the Scottish second tier will have Rangers, Hearts and Hibs in it.

That's word for word what someone I follow on Twitter said. Tongue

The final day of this Liga season is today; Barcelona has to win outright against Atletico in order to claim victory.

IIRC you guys all hate Barca, so we can celebrate together today. Winning the Madrid Derby next week will be much sweeter though. Wink

Ha. Arsenal. Finally. But the big news of yesterday was the evil ones having the title snatched away in dramatic fashion. I loved it.

Today, Juve made history, reaching 102 points. The Serie A season also ended in appropriate fashion: tons of goals. This was the highest scoring season in over sixty years. But it was the lack of one goal that made the day. Torino was fighting for the last EL spot. They were tied with Fiorentina after being down twice and granted a last minute penalty. Cerci, one of the young stars included in the World Cup provisional squad, stepped up and couldn't convert. Parma got the last spot. Another young Torino man, Ciro Immobile, was the highest scorer of the season.

And Napoli ended the season at home in front of ten thousand kids (adult fan ban after the Coppa Italia Final events) with a 5-1 thrashing of fascist Hellas Verona. Smiley

Ok, World Cup time. Wink

Prediction:

2-1 Real

Sad

(Don't think that Atletico will win without Costa. But if Costa manages to play and decently too, I think they have a chance to beat them, in the penalty shootout.)

Costa has been injecting himself with horse placenta all week; he should be able to play.

2-0 to Real even though Costa is confirmed to be playing.

Costa off after 9 minutes. Looks like they didn't inject his hamstring with enough horse placenta. Sad
