Treadwell can self-fund and is basically Generic R, he's a strong candidate.

Sullivan will be getting in by month's end. Begich is probably cackling: two Generic Pubs and Joe Miller duking it out in a primary. Pubs better be careful here because there's no runoff.

She also said she never endorses in contested primaries (her father had the same policy and refused to endorse her in one when she first ran for Leg in '98!) but will support a non-Miller nominee. Sullivan seems to be the best choice.

At this point Treadwell might as well drop out.

The PPP poll has Sullivan within 4 41-37 of Begich whilst Treadwell is down 43-37. Miller is down 20, 45-25.

When they list a bunch of no-name Indies. I've never heard of such a thing.

Sullivan outraised Begich 1.4-1.2 million and Begich leads 2.8-2 million COH.

Awful, but Sullivan will still win the primary.

If AFP follows suit, that is close to saturation for Alaska. I do hope they do a good job defining Begich and likewise with Pryor in Arkansas. I don't see these presently D by 3 to 5 races slipping out of reach, but it could very well happen.

Sullivan needs to have a good on the ground presence and he needs to make nice with Palin. If Miller goes third party, he will need Palin's support to counteract the vote drain.

Crossroads has also reserved $5.5 million of airtime for fall.
