She must not be too keen on Miller then. I supposed she is pissed that he blew the 2010 race and let Murko get back in.

Chances that Murkowski endorses Begich if Palin wins the nomination?

I hope Murkowski does just that. There will be a number of more professional conservatives lining up to dispatch her in 2016 as it is, and these people won't blow it like Miller did.

Palin is the typical woman who says many things but does nothing.

If elected, I wonder how long she would hold the seat until she found a more lucrative career and then bails on Alaska once again. Quitters never win and winners never quit. I would love if Murkowski endorsed Begich. She's one of my favorite Republicans.

I really hope she doesn't run, I don't even think she would be competitive against Begich.

Murkowski shouldn't have GOP backing as she went indie to screw the GOP guy. Go after her not the Dem Sarah. Have Miller wipe the floor with Begich.

Palin is looking for what makes Palin richer. A Senate run won't be on the menu, but floating one to sell her next book is. She is a master at Newt Gingrich's selling strategy.

Everything you said is wrong. She ran a write-in campaign, not an independent one.

Miller won't get the nomination anyways, and considering he's a laughably bad candidate he would never beat Begich.

The most recent poll, from back in February, had Miller losing to Begich 58-30. I doubt the situation has changed much.

What happens after she doesn't get into this race? She's only kept her tiny amount of views alive by continuing to flirt with runs she would never do.

Of course Palin will run!  It's her best shot to stay in the limelight  She will NOT leave the GOP, but she needs to run against Begich, and beat him, to stay relevant.

Alaska is NOT a hard-right GOP state like, say, Idaho.  It's trending Democratic, although it's not yet a swing state.  The feud between Murkowski and Palin is deep and personal, but Lisa Murkowski is one of the more moderate and reasonable Republicans in the Senate, and has received a burst of respect post-2010, after beginning her career as a questionable legacy.  Palin ended Murkowski's father's career as Governor (the father who appointed Lisa Senator), then quit in mid-term.  Meanwhile, the GOP has a shot at taking back the Senate in 2014, and knocking off Begich would be HUGE toward that end.

I predict that, in the end, the national GOP will get behind Palin in a way where she and Murkowski make nice to ensure Palin's election.  Murkowski is a real leader in the Senate GOP; she is NOT seen as an Independent as is, say Angus King or Bernie Sanders.  Murkowski is an establishment Republican, and she's not going to put herself in a position of being blamed for GOP Senate failure in 2014.  You can bet that the big GULP you're about to hear is Lisa Murkowski swallowing a huge portion of moose manure for the sake of electing a GOP Senator from Alaska.  Even a GOP Senator she will always despise.

Oh, please, no.  She's WAY too far right and ideological, even for Alaska.  But I don't know of any strong Republican who could beat Begich, unfortunately...

Treadwell is your best hope, but even then it might be a bridge too far.
