Rank from 1 to 10 the ten states/provinces/territories/etc. in which you've spent the most time in your life.  That is, #1 should be where you spent the most time, #2 the second most, etc.

For me:

1) Wisconsin

2) New York

3) Minnesota

4) New South Wales

5) Virginia

6) Washington (state)

7) Western Australia

8 ) District of Columbia
9) Massachusetts

10) Ontario (?)

Not sure if #10 should be Ontario or California, but my guess is Ontario.  California will probably move into the #10 spot within the next few years though.

My parents aren't travelers, so I haven't really been many places. Here are the ones I have.

1. New Hampshire (~15 years)
2. Massachusetts (~3 years of living there as a baby)
3. Pennsylvania (~3 months, about to pass to #2)
4. Maine (~1.5 months if you count day trips to the beach/friend's house/5 weekends of white water rafting)
5. New York (just edges out CT because time and my week in NYC)
6. Vermont (same)
7. Quebec (around a week there overall)
8. Connecticut (because of the sheer amount of time driving through, 17/19 times we road tripped so that's about 4 days driving)
9. New Jersey (one day in Wildwood, more driving for an hour is ~2 days)
10. Rhode Island (only passing through via Amtrak, and the closest Rita's to my place)

The first three are easy.  The next seven are just listed by vacations lengths, basically.

1. New Jersey (born, lived, raised... home)
.
.
.
2. Pennsylvania (dad's house)
.
.
.
3. New York (tons of day trips and sports games)
.
.
.
.
.
.
4. Queensland, AUS
5. North Carolina
6. California
7. Quebec, CA
8. Florida
9. Louisiana
10. Arizona

I've lived in the first three.  I'm actually very uncertain of the order past #5, since there have been a lot of shorter trips, or trips from when I was very young, or especially in the case of Connecticut time just spent "passing through"*, but pretty sure I've spent more time visiting MA and MD than the other states.

1. New Jersey
2. Pennsylvania
3. New York
...
4. Massachusetts
5. Maryland
6. Connecticut
7. Rhode Island
8. Virginia
9. Quebec (only time I've ever left the USA)
10. DC

*I'm entirely convinced that the only purpose of Connecticut is to make trips to Boston take three more hours than they should.

I've been in 7 states, 1 federal district, and 2 provinces, so the top 10 list is actually the full list. This probably isn't wholly accurate.

1. Pennsylvania
2. New Jersey
3. North Carolina
4. New York
5. Quebec
6. Maryland
7. Virginia
8. Ontario
9. DC
10. Delaware

I don't think I've been to enough states to list 10, and I can't give a very accurate estimate, but I'll try:

1. Michigan
2. Illinois
3. Indiana
4. Texas
5. Ohio
6. Tennessee
7. Missouri
8. Wisconsin (?)

1. Minnesota
2. Indiana
3. Michigan
4. Maryland
5. Wisconsin
6. Florida

After that, things start getting highly speculative, but I'm guessing something like...
7. California
8. Arizona
9. Rhode Island
10. Massachusetts

Honorable mentions to Illinois, New York, and Virginia.

3. Greater London
4. New York
5. Prague
6. Berlin

1. Arizona
2. Texas
3. Iowa
4. Nevada

None-lived in states:
1. Missouri
2. Arkansas
3. California
4. Louisiana
5. Illinois
6. Tennesee
7. Mississippi
8. Oklahoma
9. New Mexico
10. Utah

Past these 14, the remaining 28 states I've been to would a pure guess to put them in order.

7. Florida
8. New Jersey
9. California
10. Greater London

Not spending the night in certain locations definitely skews the results. I've been to New York City way more times than I've been to London, but I don't think I've spent the night there in like 20 years.
