2004 was the first election I predicted. I slightly over-estimated Bush's incumbency benefit in Wisconsin, but got pretty close otherwise.

I was worried about Ohio, but thought Bush spent enough time in New Jersey and Pennsylvania to win them. I also thought Bush would do better in general so he'd carry New Hampshire again.

As you can see I got Florida, Ohio, and Wisconsin wrong, tho at least I had all three as tossups along with Iowa and New Mexico.  Incidentally, I voted for neither Bush nor Kerry, but voted third party.

If you don't mind me asking, who did you vote for? I've been thinking you're center-right on the issues and would vote Republican most of the time, but I could be wrong. 2004 was the best I ever did in predictions. On the night before the election I picked every state correctly.

Didn't really care for either Bush or Kerry in 2004, so I voted third party, specifically a local third party called the United Citizens Party.  But it was a pure protest vote.  If I'd had the Nevada option of "none of these candidates" I'd have voted that.

Do you tend to vote Republican more often than Democrat?
