I'm a little confused as to what a Selectmen in Manchester even is? It has to be way down the list of importance. Seems like just something to do with managing local elections.

Does Manchester, NH even have Selectmen? I'm trying to find out what they do, but all I can find in terms of Manchester government info is about the Mayor and Board of Aldermen and stuff.

Selectmen are equivalent to a person on a city/town council.

I wish DWPERRY were running this year. Instead we have a literal MAGA hack running on the Libertarian platform and the walking caricature of the liberty movement.

A selectman is not an alderman. Pretty much just a (very) low-level election official.

Oh it is like  the temporary people who staff polling places and apparently they keep voter lists at the ward level rather than at the county level. That is freaking weird.  These people in Hudson get paid $40 or something on election day. They are appointed by the county board of elections, by the Pub and Democratic election commissioners.

Our favorite Libertarian is now a law school student at the Seattle University of Law.

He also is part of the reasonable faction of the Libertarian Party and he called the Mises Caucus - “online young men [and] edgy comedic podcast[er]s” and he has said that the Mises Caucus "provides safe harbor to bullies and bigots".

Too bad he didn't go there a few years ago or he could have crossed over with Kshama Sawant!
