Kerry/ Kerrey ? ... i like Kerrey... but i dont think he would add much to the ticket... Edwards, Warner, Nelson and Bayh are proably the strongest choices and of those Edwards comes out on top IMHO...

The name alone should put him out of the running.  Too confusing.

He said, "I would like to run, but I don't want to face the trouble of having two ex-wives".

Selecting Kerrey would just arouse rumors that he shot citizens in vietnam.

That's not original.  Politics1 had that first.

Bob Kerrey will not be selected as VP.  Several years back he ran for President but some embarassing material came to light about him (I don't remember what it was).  It killed any chance he would ever again run for President.  That would also kill any chance he would be a VP nom.

Bill Cohen might make a good pick. I watched him in front of the 9/11 commission and he wasn't trying to pitch a viewpoint.

Just by the look of the name, it's rather scary.

It would just kill the whold idea about picking a VP.
