He makes some good points on foreign policy and drug policy, but still HP.  He is more of a states' rights extremist than a genuine defender of individual liberty.

Not on a full merit scholarship, but because gramps was a United States Senator.  And, actually, an extremely intelligent person I know and respect who is a die-hard Democrat has met George Bush and had a very long, intellectual conversation with him about Dostoevsky, so he isn't exactly an uneducated idiot either.

Despite what the media shows us of Bush stuttering and making mistakes, there's a lot the public is ignorant to about him because it's not shoved in our face like his fallacies are. President Bush is actually very intelligent and educated. He's also done more with his life prior to his presidency than people realize. It's easy to watch the news and take what they say at face value, but it makes us better people to find out for ourselves rather than rely on the media as a pacifier. People with such degrees are intelligent.
