Anyone that is interested in free market capitalism, democracy, and the future of American business should watch this interview of one of the most legendary activist shareholders.  You can right click on the link and download the video to your computer.  I don't know how much longer it will be up on the web.

The interview was on a show called Fast Money on CNBC.  Icahn starts speaking about eight minutes into the clip.  It's a solid 30 minutes worth of discussion and insight.  He discusses a lot of things about the current Dell fight.

When you get one of the richest and most powerful men on Wall St basically confirming what many of us suspected all along it's powerful stuff.  The guy lambasts 1%ers who sit on the board and do nothing but collect fat paychecks, play golf, and protect their own interests.

Icahn also eviscerates the laws that prevent you the share holder from actually participating in a Democratic process in the companies YOU own.  The idea if government just retreats and lets the CEOs and boards or the country run the show everything will be just fine is a farce.
