Again, I have checked this company through and through and have left no stone unturned.  They're legit.

Do you see why our confidence level here isn't high?  Everything you post about this place describes a degree mill.

Tell us the name of the school, and maybe people here will research it more thoroughly than you did.

Bushie what percentage of people who take the CAD program you are taking are employed within 6 months of graduation?

Statistically, north of 95%.

Degree mills do that all the time.

To be fair, public schools do it too. Especially in bad neighborhoods, where most students never come close to a mastery of material. You can't fail 75% of a class.

O/T but that's part of the reason why a university degree is required for so many jobs that don't need it.

And that's why degree mills don't sit high on employer's list of accomplishments.  It's just like taking vo-tech for half your day in high school.

This is a vo-tech, but I'm going all day.  I'm being trained in a special skill which will undoubtedly propel me into the field. I have to do my part, of course, by passing tests, certification tests, and portfolio assignments.  It's the same way if I were to go into, say, HVAC or Graphic Design.  This will open the door to the entry level positions.  In fact, the school places a lot of their students in jobs themselves that are entry level in whatever field they specialize in.  They're not going to place any dummies so its up to me.  95% may be a bit high, I'll get citation on this, but i know I've heard 90%+.  The system is set up to succeed.

Just low enough that I can't purchase a home for 2-3 years.  I'll still be able to get an apartment, buy a car, etc.

Whatever the damage will seem worth it just to get the house out of my hair!

Wait a minute, that isn't a real school.  I thought you were going to the actual government-provided local Community College.  Non-governmental schools are fake, Bushie.

No, wait, sorry, I just checked, it is a real government program.  The web-site just looks totally phoney.   Why don't they put clearly on the web-site that this isn't some horrible private deal, but a public service of the State Government?

Perhaps the anti-government tendencies of the Oklahoman make them prefer things to look like fraudulent fly-by night private 'educators'.

bushie you should do a little experiment.  on your next test intentionally do bad.  see if your 'instructor' still changes the grade based on 'poorly worded questions.'

this fellow probably loses his job if any of you fail...

Harvard is fake? The private sector of education works well for those at the top. Just like private business.

Too much risk for very little reward.  He won't get fired if any of us fail, but he wants to give us a fair shot with updated lessons.  He is going to rework the lessons and get them current over the weekend.  Monday, I will likely do a review of everything I've done so far so he has more time to update the lesson plans.  I should get back to LAP 6 by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Yes, that's right.  I knew someone would bring up Harvard and that sort of thing, memphis, but, of course, its apples and oranges.  The upper class is served by capitalism, the lower is consumed.  Even these state-supported abattoirs are just spicing the poor drones up for better palatability.

May e so, but its still better than working with outdated, or non current, lesson plans that are misleading due to the discrepancy isn't it?
