You're spot on about that, which is why I argue that he never will lose weight or change his diet because it takes a strong person to do it, and he and his family are not strong. They always take the easy route because it is easy.

Nothing poor people face in a capitalist society is 'easy', Duke.  A better way to phrase your post would have been that any change would be incredibly hard, almost impossible, and also to note that what makes people 'strong' as you call it is not any internal character but their class status/background.

It's pretty obvious why Bushie has to take naps constantly: his diet and lack of physical activity. Until he fixes those things, the naps aren't going to stop.

Why would lack of physical activity make you need to nap?  I'm not physically active, and I need a nap when I'm forced to get up too early - because of horrible toils.

What 'tasks'?  Is everybody a roofer or something like this?  My daily toils mostly involve opening my mouth and shoving bull out of it, while clicking a powerpoint frame by frame.

All he had to do today was go check in on his financial aid and he 'postponed' it......probably to nap.

Yep.  Goal = FAILED.  As have been mentioned, I think its the lack of a routine that's getting to me.  I have too much time on my hands.  Once I start school, I'll have a routine and will be at school during the prime napping hours, so naps will have to be relegated to weekends.

I'm very pro-nap, but why don't you just get up at 3 in the afternoon instead.  Go to bed about 6 AM and wake up at 2 or 3.  That's what I do.

No this is the age at which one can legally consent to sex with an adult.  So, that is, in some states one such as I (or Bushie) could have sex with a 16 year old legally, in others a 17 year old, and in a benighted few, only an 18 year old.

I still choose not to date right now.  Fact is, women are expensive!  Without a job right now, it would be hard to support her.  If I did have a job, I would have no time to spend with her.  So, for the lady's sake, I am refraining and when I do start looking, I'll keep it close to my age.

What the heck makes you think you need to support someone?  Dating doesn't mean supporting anyone.  Heck, I didn't even pay for their meals/drinks when I was dating in the US..  even if you do that, its just buy a $20 meal once a week or something like that.

2 full bathrooms, but we only use the shower in the main bathroom.  The small bathroom tub is a make shift storage, so we've relegated it to a 1/2 bath in essence.

I think it is precisely because they live in a trailer that they aren't in such bad financial condition - it seems to me they also drive older cars.  I think they're very parsimonious people.
