What are your principles and values? I thought we could all discuss our philosophies on how to help the less fortunate, our ideologies, and how we form our positions on political issues.

Focus on service, common sense, and results.
My parents taught me the importance of family and faith.
End partisan gridlock and embrace a common ground.
Future vs. Past is better than liberal vs. conservative.
Replace name calling with bipartisan management.
Term limits give others a chance to succeed as politicians.
Judges shouldn't legislate from the bench or be held to litmus tests of ideology.
Republicans can't win by pushing away liberal groups such as minorities and gays.
Create a land of opportunity for All Americans.
Our founding fathers would've been Libertarians, but today we have different problems than 1776.
Honest politicians don't duck debates, but make their positions known.
No fear or shame in being a voice of opposition and reason if opposed to a popular idea.
Free elections hold politicians accountable for not keeping their word.
Religion isn't relevant when making moral and ethical decisions.
Mitt Romney and John McCain were conservative enough.
I consider myself to be a common sense conservative populist.

I figured since I've been stating my positions line by line in the form of bills I'd keep my structure going.

Yes.

My parents taught me the importance of family and faith.
Okay.

End partisan gridlock and embrace a common ground.
Wherever possible, yes.

Future vs. Past is better than liberal vs. conservative.
Yes.

Replace name calling with bipartisan management.
Yes.

Term limits give others a chance to succeed as politicians.
I disagree with term limits.  I think others get a chance to succeed as politicians whenever election time comes up.

Judges shouldn't legislate from the bench or be held to litmus tests of ideology.
Eh.

Republicans can't win by pushing away liberal groups such as minorities and gays.
Very true.

Create a land of opportunity for All Americans.
Yes.

Our founding fathers would've been Libertarians, but today we have different problems than 1776.
Eh, probably.  It's hard to determine where they'd all stand in this day and age, but they definitely wouldn't be on the same side of every issue.  (Heck, I can easily see John Adams supporting Obamacare and Thomas Jefferson being vehemently opposed to it.)

Honest politicians don't duck debates, but make their positions known.
Yes.

No fear or shame in being a voice of opposition and reason if opposed to a popular idea.
Yes.

Free elections hold politicians accountable for not keeping their word.
Yes.

Religion isn't relevant when making moral and ethical decisions.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

Mitt Romney and John McCain were conservative enough.
Um, alright?

I consider myself to be a common sense conservative populist.
Cool bro.

On a side note, please stop posting these things in the Voting Booth in Atlasia.  That's not what the board is for and they just clutter it.  No offense.

Thanks I took them off. Hopefully, I can run for something and propose my ideas as legislation.
