I said support but wouldn't have it done. However, how is someone against declawing a cat but pro-abortion?

Please explain? I don't see the connection.

Oh you know just that abortion seems to be a much worse thing to have done than declawing a cat.

That would depend on whether or not you consider a fetus to be a person, which I don't thnk it is until the point of viability. On the other hand, declawing a cat eliminates it's only form of defense for no good reason.

When does a cat become a person?

Never, obviously. However, while the life of a feline clearly isn't equal to the life of a human, I would still consider it more important than the life of a fetus that's only a few weeks old.
