The generally conservative lean of my fraternity pushed me more to the left than any professor could have.  The more you hear from right-wingers, the more you tend to not be anything like them.

Oddly enough, this pretty much answers why universities are so full of liberalism in the first place.

Do we really need proof? Walk up and talk to a young liberal from a state university. They won't know who the Vice-President is, how long terms are, or which countries border the U.S. It's ok though because they voted for Obama.

Twenty-nine percent of Americans could not name the vice-president. Hmm...let's see, that means that seventy-one percent can name the vice-president. What was the turnout at the last election again?
Oh yeah, it was 57.5%, 13.5 points lower than the percent who could name the VP.
http://bipartisanpolicy.org/library/report/2012-voter-turnout
So, if Obama voters can't name the vice president, and given that half of voters voted for Obama, that means the vast majority of those who can't name the VP are Obama voters...and nearly all apolitical non-voters can name the vice president! That's impressive!
I couldn't find statistics on your other two claims, but I'm sure they are equally specious and I would bet money that about 80% of Americans and 99% of voters know presidents have four-year terms, and that >90% of Americans know that Canada and Mexico are our neighbors. I would bet all three of these things are easily over 90% with college students who have any kind of political opinions, two demographics that select for political knowledge, know these things.

Way to be critical of my joke... meanie! Wink

The quick drop in 2007-2008 was during my "Hagel years", and it's interesting that my economic score rose at the same time, because Hagel definitely wasn't a hardcore fiscal conservative.

I feel like I've probably plateaued about now, and I don't really see much changing.  I'm comfortable where I'm at right now, and other than a random view or two, my views are mostly consistent and mesh together in some sort of pattern.

An E score of 9.61 is extremely liberal, yes.
