The top three candidates from the 2006 Connecticut Senate race (excluding third party candidates).  I have a feeling I know how this will go down.

I vote Schlesinger, but I could see myself having supported Lieberman IRL.

Lamont. Schlesinger is embarrassing and Lieberman is a disgrace.

Anybody but Lieberman. Schesliengawhatevahisnameis is running for congress down here now. I will work on the campaign that roundly routes him in the Republican primary. Who that person will be is yet to be determined.

Wow is this thread out of touch with the voters. You guys are even to the left of Connecticut?

We're not trying to replicate the results of the Connecticut election though.

Well. I think I would have supported Lieberman in the primary. I don't like primarying senators, except if they are really awful. Even if I disagree with him on Iraq War (yes, even if I'm interventionnist, I have French's blood haha Tongue).

But Lieberman lost the primary. So I would have backed the democratic nominee Lamont.

Joe Lieberman was the best candidate and would've made a good secretary of state when Colin Powell left.

I don't think I'd call him a nutcase, but Supersonic may have been referring to his gambling problem. He adopted a pseudonym in Connecticut casinos to avoid detection as a card counter and reportedly racked up some large gambling debts in Atlantic City.
