I know some people here have seen this show. I'm on the sixth episode now. It's fascinating, even if I can't necessarily understand all the words.

Great show, even if parts of it are a little cheesy/soap opera-ish. Daniel Craig is really surprisingly amazing in it as well.

Also the Geordie dialect is really fun to listen to.

One of my favourites, and not just because of the subject matter (though that helps, obviously). It also features something very rare in telly or film: a plausible and non-exploitative depiction of a character with a severe mental illness.

Anyway, there aren't many political dramas in which the most consistently sympathetic characters are basically old fashioned Labour Right.

It amuses me that Tosker is a fan of Sunderland but his son's room is full of Newcastle United regalia.
