Completely random, but this race has the largest age gap of any race, 72 vs. 35, for 37 years. The only other race that comes close is Kansas, at 78 (Roberts) vs. 45 (Orman).

Good. Hopefully Secretary Grimes sends the fossilized turtle to back to Kentucky's Creationism museum.

Actually very helpful to her since no one in Kentucky will care and this will prevent any hurtful soundbite from getting into Republican ads.

If only there was someone that said early on that this wouldn't even be all that close...

You're delusional if you think this won't be close.

Grimes outraises McConnell $4.9 million to $3.2 million.

Turtle has $5.2 COH while Grimes has $4.4

There will be another Bluegrass/SUSA poll out today @ 7:30PM EST, I think.

Crossing my fingers. They've been Grimes' best pollster, if they show her out of it, there's probably no hope left.

Well... there's no hope left (or at least not much anyway).

Still curious to see what PPP says.

It's doubtful that this race swung 4 points in a week.

Yeah, but they always did. I'm wondering if Grimes' team still thinks she's going to win.

I think they do.

She will lose but not by 8 points.

^^^they probably think they have a path to victory, which they do if turnout is exceptional and McConnell's ground game phones it in.

Kind of like how McCain 'thought he was going to win' in 08

Not really comparable, but whatever tickles you bro.

What is it about hacks from Connecticut?
