It's really amazing how many people in this country (of course those age 18-30) who support legalization of drugs.  It's scary.  Find another hobby for god sakes.

As for gay marriage, right now it's banned in FL, but with many northeastern transplants heading there and the young population growing, I could see it just being a matter of time; I would support that.

It's really amazing how many people in this country support spending crazy amounts of money to lock up and destroy the lives other people because of a harmless plant. It's scary. Find another way to blow the government's money for god sakes. Also, this:

It's really amazing to me how people can't see how harmful prohibition has been. Mind your own business dude.

Don't be surprised if senior politicos in the FL GOP will use the Trayvon Martin case and George Zimmerman's acquittal as a rallying cry for 2nd Amendment defenders and gun owners to lead a massive turnout from conservatives in the States' Rights Battle.

I would be surprised if they did that. It's not how the FL GOP and especially not how Rick Scott operates. Much more likely is the FL GOP completely ignoring the issue and focusing on the economy, healthcare and jobs while the FL Dems try to beat the stand-your-ground horse to death.

Better weed than bath salts. Am I right, Florida?

What's more amazing is that there are people like you who think that people should be imprisoned for extended periods of time for daring to harvest and smoke a wild plant that's been a part of human culture and medicine since about 3,000 BC.

I think it's more amazing that there's still no majority for gay marriage in Florida unlike the rest of the country. This despite such places as Miami and Florida Keys. I guess there's a majority in Southern Florida though, while a majority in the North opposes it.

FWIW, Florida doesn't have a chance of legalizing gay marriage (Barring a court case) until at least 60% support it.

Why is that? Wouldn't it be enough with a Democratic Governor, House and Senate? They know it'll be a winning case in the long run anyways, so why not get on with it? It's not like they're gonna experience a huge backlash.

In Florida, repealing a constitutional amendment can only be done with another constitutional amendment. And that requires 60% of the vote.

Though, FWIW, that's probably an easier objective than getting a Democratic State Leg in Florida.

I hope Crist wins his job back as governor in 2014, but it's gonna be tough.
