1. Hillary Clinton
I have concluded that Republicans are more likely to win the next presidential election, but Hillary Clinton is an overwhelming favorite for the Democratic nomination, so her odds of being POTUS top those of any other Republican.
Ball-park odds: 60% odds she'll be the nominee (this is a conservative guess) + 40% odds she'll win= 24% chance of Hillary Clinton as the next President.

2. Chris Christie
He's the best political talent among the Republicans, and benefits from a divided field.
Ball-park odds: 35% odds he'll be the nominee + 65% odds he'll win= 22.75% chance of Chris Christie as the next President.

3. Paul Ryan
Handled himself well as a Veep candidate. Has the institutional advantages of being next in line. Young and smart in a party looking to rebrand after McCain, Romney, Cheney (not young), Palin, Perry and W (not smart.) Has a regional advantage in Iowa.
Ball-park odds: 15% odds he'll be the nominee + 60% odds he'll win= 9% chance of Paul Ryan as the next President.

4. Rand Paul
His dad finished third in Iowa, and second in New Hampshire. And he'll be a southerner heading into the South Carolina primary. He's also likelier to run than anyone else.
Ball-park odds: 12% odds he'll be the nominee + 51% odds he'll win= 6.1% chance of Rand Paul as the next President.

5. Marco Rubio
I don't know if he'll run against Jeb, but he's ambitious, the base likes him and the optics (young Hispanic) are good.
Ball-park odds: 10% odds he'll be the nominee + 60% odds he'll win the General= 6% chance of Marco Rubio as the next President.

Incidentally, the second likeliest Democratic nominee is probably Kirsten Gilibrand in the unlikely event Hillary doesn't run. The party favors younger senators (see Edwards and Obama) and they're eager to nominate a woman.
