Some in my class once heard that the "Jenny Jones Killer" was in some way an associate of our school's president. A number of folks would willfully interpreted this as stating that said killer, John Schmitz, attended here. They plopped this onto our wikipedia page, and it has yet to be removed, with only "citation needed" appearing.

Howard Stern's wife.  Tongue Though Matthew Ridgeway lived just nearby during his retirement, and died pretty close to there.  There's a monument to him there.
