Which of the two tickets wins? What does the electoral college map look like, and what are the popular vote percentages?

Pelosi costs the Democrats every state by double digits along with more than 50 seats in the House and 7-10 in the senate. Can you guys imagine Nanci Pelosi's comments and stances at the front and center of the country's focus? And how old is Harry Reid? On the Republican side, I'm thinking Boehner would do most of the work and pulling for a comfortable win.

Shut up. These tickets are equally bad and you know it.

McConnell does NOT win New Hampshire. I've noticed you like to let New Hampshire go Republican a lot more than it should (in timelines) or would (in predictions). Perhaps desirability bias, as you are a Republican from New Hampshire?

Oh yes. I'm yearning for the days when NH was solidly red.

No there's no equivalence between these tickets. Boehner/McConnell would be bad, but Pelosi would be the biggest factor. How old is Harry Reid?

2 years older than Mitch McConnell, and the same age Reagan was in 1984.

One political ad of Reid boxing in a ring with a McConnell stand in and he wins.

PS Speaking of ads with candidate stand ins, remember that hilarious/creepy one with a Mitt Romney stand in from the '12 primaries? Best ad ever

This without NH. McConnell is much smarter than Reid and probably a much better campaigner too.

If only it were a good comparison to Reagan. Please tell me you find Reagan in 1984 more charismatic than Reid is now. Please! Using age against Reagan leads to comments like "I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I will not for political purposes exploit my opponent's youth and inexperience." Harry Reid is no Reagan.

McConnell and Boehner win decisively.  I don't think any national ticket with Pelosi on it could win.

Now THAT I agree 100% with. As Bill Maher said of Harry Reid's often sour expression: "If you're the face of the Democratic party in the Senate, that face has to stop saying 'My dog just died.'"

I don't even think Pelosi could win her home state of CA.

California is a Democratic state. What makes you think it would vote two of the worst faces of the Republican Party over two of the worst faces of the Democratic Party? Reid/Pelosi vs Christie/Martinez, sure, Reid/Pelosi loses California. But not against an equally toxic Republican ticket.

Reid's Mormon heritage would bring him close in Utah.
