American International pop culture is shallow, cruel, stupid, and obnoxious. I won't argue with that. Eh, the board mod has posted in this thread but hasn't made any deletions to the offending posts, and I say fine by me. Really deleting disgusting and idiotic posts by certain posters just gives them cover. We saw that with the Bakersfield resident who was defended by more casual posters because his worst stuff was defended. These type of threads are quite illuminating into what certain people are like, so I say go ahead and let us see the truth. It doesn't hurt anyone but yourself.

For what it's worth I was entirely sincere in my well-wishes, and I was specifically trying not to "body shame" (I guess this is an official thing now? I'm so behind!) while pointing out that her previous body composition was not impossible to attain by any stretch of the imagination.

The point is that the area of normality is much wider than what we assume. Sure she might have had a few more kilograms than the average person, but not enough for it to be noteworthy.
