A Rooseveltian sort of freedom safeguarded by organized labor. Probably closer to an actual historically articulated political idea of freedom than most posters', but not one that's currently in the ascendant (more's the pity).

Despite coming from a largely wealthy family himself, Caceres had been so kind as to lend his hand to allowing The People to overrun his family property--so long as he was able to tell these new occupiers how to live, of course. Now, as Caceres stood on the balcony of his palace-type-thing, looking down on all the Cogendist Cubans milling about and smirking at the Yankee-Gringo-Capitalist-Imperialist scum off his shore, he thought "This, this is freedom."
