I vote no.  I don't feel strongly either way, but I do not see any point in Canada dumping the Queen.

Yep, and it's pleasing to see many Canadians do too.

All countries should be made into republics.

Yeah, obviously. It's all silliness and nostalgia at this point.

Yes, with the caveat that they should keep their current political system, and just find someone who's willing to fulfill the same nonpartisan action as the Governor-General.

This, though I do not want to force it upon any people not already in favor of such a change.

Not quite.  Without the monarchy, Canada has no reason to not join the United States.   The invitation's already been extended.  All they have to do is accept it.

I'd like to see Canada join the U.S. and become states. I know it's not going to happen, but I like Canada and it would make traveling easier.

Dump the Queen, but remain a parliamentary democracy. No need to be an American-style Republic.

Constitutional monarchy is not necessarily a bad thing, as long as the monarch is powerless.  At worst, it is a silly though harmless tradition, and many people like such traditions.

What would Canada do without the Queen's symbolism?  Even if Canada maintained a parliamentary system, a loss of the monarchy would be a loss of a large part of what distinguishes them from the US.  Canada is the nation outside of the UK most visited by the Queen, and many Canadians would miss those frequent royal visits.  I suppose not all would, especially the Quebecois, but the the Canadian government has done all that it can to please them.

I would certainly want to dump the queen if I lived in a country that recognized her, but I suppose it's none of my concern whether they have one or not.

While not Canadian, I'd like both Canada and Australia to retain the monarchy.

Yes, most definitely. Canada should have an actual Canadian citizen as head of state, just as I believe all other non-UK Commonwealth nations should have their respective heads of state be chosen from within their respective countries. I don't expect any country to change so long as Queen Elizabeth II sits on the throne.
