I would recommend then getting an exact estimate on the costs so that we no what we are dealing with here.

We don't even know the costs of the law this amends. I am open to changing the cap to reduce costs.

True, but I would assume that Griffin and Nix have a good understanding courtesty of the work on the budget to get it to a more reasonable situation. I would use that as a basis if necessary, at least then we know what we are dealing with.

Would would the assistance look like, to those families who taken on care for a grandparent or older relative?

If a tax credit, then what size of a tax credit? If something else, then what exactly?

Earlier it was mentioned that cost will be an issue, but we cannot even address that unless we know what approach we will be taken here to accomplish this. So, will it be tax credits or something else?

Can we expect amendments on this soon?

This bill has set for three days and much longer than that with critical issues lingering unaddressed.

I am going to be opening a vote on this unless given a good reason not to too before I got offline.

Keep in mind that I can exit the Final Vote if provided a reasonable assurance that this situation will change (like an amendment text ready to be offered for instance) in exchange for ending it.

So how is this gonna end?

If only the penalty for such choices were the same, then this would at least be entertaining. Evil

Thursday! If nothing happens this goes to a final vote before the Senate ends.

Damn, even the bgwah strategy isn't working here.

Last day to get some direction here.

As the text currently stands, what are its deficiencies? How are they to be improved? What alternative structures are desired if the present one is lacking? If funding is a concern, how do we pay for it?

I am one of ten, I cannot answer these questions isolation that are to be answered by the collective opinion of six or more of us.

Were any requests placed with the GM before he called a halt to further such information given pending his leaving the post?

Shouldn't it say Age limits mentioned "in" as opposed to "on", or am I missing something?

Joyce just got confirmed. I hate to overload him, but we have waited here quite awhile. I am going to PM him later and see if I can get a time frame, or order of priority on these since we have three or four needing his immediate attention.
