Cohn's projections indicate that it will be at least 2036 before Texas turns blue, assuming a competitive election.

I doubt that anyone would believe that Texas would be the battleground state that gets the Democratic presidential candidate over 270 EV any time soon.

This article simply said that Texas will be toss up in 2036.

Texas is not going blue anytime soon. Yes It has Liberal hotspots like Austin but 2036 is about right

I can't see in their projections what percent of the white and Hispanic vote they assume the democrat will get.
