Maryland remains blank and is not counted in your Electoral College count. So, with Hillary winning Maryland, she is at 268.

Sorry about that, should be fixed up now.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy it. It's slowly coming to an end. I think 2032 will be my last election for this TL.

Yes, it is. Great timeline you are making. Really love it.

Kennedy, Cuomo Nominated in Los Angeles

AP -- August 6, 2020

Vice President Joseph P. Kennedy III, the third Kennedy to be nominated by the Democratic Party, was nominated last night in Los Angeles. He tapped Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, the former Governor of New York and the son of former President Mario Cuomo, to be his running mate. Many analysts said that this was an unlikely pairing, as Kennedy is a rising star in the Democratic Party while Cuomo has been waiting in the wings since the early 1990s. The Conventions highlighted the many successes of President Rodham’s two terms. Vice President Kennedy took pride in his taking the lead on gun control, following the UVM shooting of 2018. In his acceptance speech, Kennedy pledge to finish the reforms to the NHS bill that President Rodham started “so that all Americans can have the healthcare that my grandfather and great-uncle laid the foundations for!” Former President Mario Cuomo gave the keynote address at the convention, drawing connections to his very successful, single, term as President. The earliness of convention was carefully planned, to allow Vice President Kennedy to travel to Tokyo as part of the U.S. delegation for the 2020 Olympics.

Huntsman, Boehner Nominated in Houston

AP -- August 25, 2020

Senators Jon M. Huntsman, Jr. (R-UT) and John A. Boehner (R-OH) were nominated this evening in Houston at the 2020 Republican National Convention. The Republican ticket is notably older than the Democratic one, but the RNC played on the strength and experience of their two Senators. Senator Boehner was on the offensive, attacking Vice President Kennedy for being nominated “for his name, not his record.” Senator Huntsman left the attack to his running mate, instead highlighting his foreign policy experience. Senator Huntsman announced his intentions to work with British Prime Minister Ed Miliband to bring an end to the British Occupation of the Scottish Republic. He also gave his support for “a deeply reformed” National Health System and the expansion of Medicaid.

Puerto Rico - 7

Vice President Joseph P. Kennedy III/Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo (D) - 278

Why is North Carolina strong republican?

Without Obama running on the top of a ticket African American voters are never brought out in 2008 swarms in North Carolina. Governor Roy Cooper passed Voter ID requirements in 2018, making the state have a Republican slide.

Great Timeline, I read from start to now in an hour or two!

I'm surpised Cooper would pass that law but I guess it's an alternate universe deal so it makes since.

I hate that about Ford auto though Sad.

Speaking of which who are these folks doing:  VP Ford, President Clinton, Perot, Governor Ventura, and Al Gore?

VP Ford died in 1996 from a heart attack. President Clinton, after being pardoned, is living quietly in Hope, AR and writing his memoirs. Ross Pert died in 2005 from a brain tumor. Jesse Vetnura is writing various books on conspiracy theories. Al Gore is working for the Kennedy campaign as an energy advisor.

But nice to see Billy Boy is still going and I figured Gore would be doing something. Is Ventura acting like he is in real life?

Thanks for the info!

Ventura is basically the same as IRL, but he's a bit better known because of his VP-run.
