Meh, I don't pay much attention. There have been times where I've looked at my post count and realized that I missed an opportunity to attention whore about a milestone number.

1,3,4, and 6. I hate when somebody with 237 posts comes in and acts like he is somehow equal to the forum "establishment" is BS. I saw a thread on Alternate History.com recently where they bashed us here for being too elitist and close knit, but we don’t have 60,000 members who post nothing but BS 90% of the time.

Except as to wondering if some folks have a life, I find post counts irrelevant myself. I don't even look at them except sometimes to notice a newbie. Is there a correlation between post counts and quality? If there is, it's very marginal. Heck, there might even be a negative correlation. Tongue
