Honestly my favorite show (I've seen every episode plus all four movies). Really sad that there are only two episodes left in the series (it seems to be actually ending this time rather than just getting canceled like it was on FOX), and one's tonight.

Thoughts on the show in general and this season in particular?

It's still running? I have a lot to watch, then.

A big fan of the original run. I've only scantly watched episodes after the revival but they don't fare as well based on what I've been exposed to.

For the most part they're a bit weaker, but there are several that rank with the stronger episodes of the first run (Lethal Inspection, The Late Philip J. Fry, Decision 3012, Near-Death Wish).

Remember going through the DVDs (that I'd borrowed from my mate the internet) in 2007, but haven't thought of it since.

Meh, it might not be bad, but for some reason I can't get myself interested to any of these American "societal satire" cartoons.

I've always liked the show, but its revival on Comedy Central in general left me cold except for The Late Philip J. Fry which ranks in the top five episodes of the series for me.

Love it, but I'll admit the current season has probably been the weakest. I hope it can survive a second cancellation.

A hell of a finale, certainly among the strongest episodes of this second run. I don't see how a new run could happen, though, given the ending.

What are you talking about? The ending was left wide open for another revival.

I hope it resurfaces down the line again. My favorite show hands down.

Of course, but now that all memory of show's events is lost, the revival (which would presumably again be Fry getting used to the future/intercharacter relationships developing) again could be incredibly difficult to pull off well.

I have low expectations for the Simpsons crossover next year (that show hasn't had a decent episode in almost a decade, sadly), but there's still the comics and rumors about a future film.
