I just joined. It seems like they're some overlap between them and us, I've already seen posters named Redalgo and Goldwater. For reference, I'm OregonDemocrat over there.

Oops lol. I wasn't sure about you but pretty sure about Redalgo. They're from Montana and referred to himself as a market socialist.

How does its overall quality, or lack thereof, compare to this hood?

More focus on debate and less on elections. I still prefer this forum. I can't judge a lot considering how I've only been there for two days. They are much more restrictive on trolls, profanity, etc.

It has the kind of creative name only a serious political person would be able to come up with.

I voted FF because I thought you meant this Forum.

I just visited it. I felt myself getting dumber with every post I read. It wasn't even just the spelling errors that littered the page, or the clearly wrongly-chosen word, it was like reading the 2012 board on here.

Saw a few boards and threads that looked like they might be interesting, but it is difficult to read and browse from an aesthetic point of view, so I do not think I will be frequenting it.

They have an entire board dedicated to abortion. I can't think of anything I'd like to read less. Maybe fan fiction for the teletubbies with abortion as a major plot point. Actually, no.. that sounds pretty okay.

There's a lot of shallow back and forths that make our worst threads seem engaging. But then again if you post on the Atlas you're a snob, so take that with a grain of salt.

They seem to put up with a lot more uncited assertions.

I feel like this forum is my home.

No, no Barfy.  The Atlas is "home" to those that have been here for the long haul.  3,000 posts in just under 3 months?  You're more like the cousin you never met that shows up on the couch, raids the fridge, and doesn't leave.

LOL

On a depressing note, Barfbag has been here for a mere 10 weeks and his post count is rapidly approaching mine even though I've been here a year Tongue

Touch ANYTHING but my taco stuff, bitches!  (seasoned ground turkey, cheddar/pepper jack shredded cheese mix, hot salsa, black olives, sour cream)

I've had some more interactions with posters there. I would definitely not recommend this forum.
