Well?  Would you be willing to try a fried six-legged creature?

Do you mean insect? and possibly if it's what you mean.

Oops.  Yes, insect.  I better correct that.

Logically, if Americans can eat crustaceans (aquatic invertebrates), what's the big deal with insects?  I've heard that grasshoppers even taste somewhat like shrimp.

Also, since there are so many bugs all over the place, it may make sense to make use of this abundant food source.

I don't see a difference in eating a bug and eating a crawfish, so sure.

Nope. I don't much like fried food and I sure a heck am not going to eat an insect. One of the perks of being an American is getting to shun insects in favor of cows, pigs, and chickens.

I can't even look at bugs (or think about them) without becoming slightly ill.

I don't see the difference between eating bugs and shrimp either. That's why I don't eat shrimp. Tongue

I'd prefer to have it fried, but still not eating it at all is best.

I try to avoid insects and incest, so frying them won't make a difference.

As long as it's shelled and so on, sure, why not?

Yes I'd try most things once. You know as long as it wasn't an eyeball or something similar.

Sure.  I used to eat ants when I was like 2 years old according to my mom.

I've had ants and crickets, both were fine.

I eat them occasionally - a bag of assorted grubs once every few months.  More rarely I end up with crickets - don't like those as much.

Wonderfully salty snack with a beer, but you can't eat a lot of them without feeling a little woozy.

Ants aren't bad, really.

Maybe a cricket or grasshopper or something. Nothing particularly large or creepy-crawly.
