We still don't know how we're going to pay for this war or the airstrikes.

I didn't know there were any Counts in Congress!

Sen. Collins is sounding very skeptical.

Adam Kinzinger was impressed with Kerry's argument but says that Obama isn't selling it well. I've never heard that before.

I supported Kinzinger in his primary last year because he was one of the most reasonable Republicans in regards to Libya, one of the few who opposed Gaddafi more than Obama. He voted against the GOP House's "OMG Obama sucks on Libya, LEAVE GADDAFI ALONE!" resolutions. So not surprising he's being more reasonable than his colleagues on this as well.

POLITICO  Heitkamp and Manchin are floating a proposal

Edited to add: I love this part because it sounds like the Senate assigning President Obama homework:

And I thought Manchin was totally useless.

Nice work!

Have members from gray districts undecided, or are they all abstaining? I'd be surprised if they all abstained...

The Fix says that the Syria vote is looking Grimm.

He cites Mike Grimm's switch to point out that Congressman are getting an earful from their constituents.

The Senate delays the Syria vote.

I doubt Reid has anywhere near the votes needed for cloture.

He doesn't. My prediction is that the resolution will be defeated in the House and pass narrowly in the Senate but be filibustered.

Nice work!

I 2nd, the Cotton(R) position(s) is having a whipsawing affect around here; this map does illustrate the noise.

BTW; being an eraser head or the pen prick has me wondering amusingly; which is Obama or Putin?

Well the map seems to imply that it won't go.
