If there was a civil war in my country, the free market would fix it.

There's no "free market" when armed, uniformed men (or women) from the other side have  guns to your head, taking everything that's not bolted to the floor in your house and maybe having their way with your partner or even you.

There would be a demand for more weapons and therefore better armed citizens. We could do it. The free market would fix it.

This really all depends on the context. Who's winning, who would be intervening etc.

Does the US still have a democratic system of government with independent courts? If so, international help would not be needed. If not, I assume a revolution in the US would already be happening, with the world falling apart.

It really is not worth too much time pondering this one really.  Smiley

No, I don't want other nations dictating my own's internal politics, thank you very much.

I'm thinking that the rest of the world would inevitably be sucked into the war and WWIII would start on US soil.

What about when those "internal politics" involve sarin gas and AK-47s?

Due to the 2nd amendment, we the people would be able to take care of it with little intervention.
