Hm... both parties seem to be very mixed bags.
Whom would I support if I support the Constitution, like both leaders because of their efforts, want a more urban based economy (which probably isn't that mercantilistic as I understand it), don't like the government's "aristocratic" approach advocate democracy and also strict neutrality concerning European affairs?
In this time period an urban party would have been mercantilistic and focused those who produce goods for export. And this new country is too small and too new to be strictly neutral, to survive it needs friends.
