I don't think politicians belong on the Supreme Court in general.  It's not a place for on the job training.  But, that said, she would probably do a great job eventually.

There are better nominees available for a Democratic President to choose from. This is like the idea of nominating Hillary Clinton to the Supreme Court, which I also would not support. If we're going to stray from nominating judges, I'd prefer we look to those in the field of constitutional law (i.e. Professors of Constitutional Law).
